ORIGIN OF PASHUPATINATH AND KEDARNATH
Lord Shiva is one of the greatest god od Hinduism. There are many devotees of lord shiva who comes to visit Pashupatinath and Kedarnath. This both temple lies in two different countries of Asia which combined show the complete part of lord shiva.
However, when we talk about their origin, there is quite the same story which shows that they exist at the same time. This both temple is whole body symbol of Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath lies in Kathmandu, Nepal whereas Kedarnath lies in Uttrakhand, India.
According to Hindu mythology, they exist in Dwapar Yuga in which lord Krishna born and
Mahabharat war was begun. At that time five Pandava was exiled to the forest for one year. During that exile, lord shiva came to examine their talent by changing his appearance in Cow. When the cow was near to them out of five Pandava, Yudhistir identifies him because of his pure soul. So five Pandava talked about the presence of Lord Shiva quietly and at the same time Lord Shiva came to know that they identify him. So at that time, Lord was in a hurry to escape from there by digging himself through the ground and then Bhima was ordered to catch him although he was strongest in all Pandavas. Bhim was able to catch Lord Shiva but the half part of that Cow was undergrounded.The head part which is undergrounded exist as Pashupatinath and back, the tail part known as Kedarnath.
